SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Located off the coast of Vietnam, the WHP (White Tiger) Platform is one of
five platforms joined together by a fixed bridge link.

The White Tiger Platform itself is a processing platform. A GAI-Tronics
Page/Party® system is already installed in the separate LQ (living quarters) platform of the complex. The system required for the White Tiger Platform is required to enable platform wide PA broadcasts as well as issuing dedicated alarms across the platform. Integration is also required with existing systems on the other platforms of the complex ensuring an integrated solution to the end user.

GAI-Tronics where asked to bid for the replacement of the existing PAGA
System due to the fact that GAI-Tronics has already supplied and installed a dedicated Page/Party® System on the LQ platform. The complex is a major Offshore Oil Installation that provides Vietnam with Oil for processing and distribution.

SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY

GAI-Tronics will design, supply & commission the required PA System. The
replacement system on the White Tiger Platform comprises of a dedicated
PAGA System consisting of a single dedicated equipment control rack with
remote access panels, certified loudspeakers and Beacons.

The proposed equipment rack house system control and monitoring facilities.
This will enable a secure means of informing personnel in the event of an
emergency situation by use of broadcasting specific verbal instructions
Platform wide.

The system is also available for the broadcast of the Platform
Alarms. The system is continuously and fully monitored for system
availability. All loudspeaker cables are monitored for both open and short
circuit conditions.
