SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Not all Police Stations are manned 24 hours a day and, as a legislative requirement, must have a communication link for the public to access information or emergency lines when a station is closed.
A telephone situated outside the door provides a vital link for those in need of the Services. Other areas, such as police cells, enquiry desks, delivery/despatch areas can require a telephone for security purposes or simply for ease of communication. These telephones need to be weather resistant and able to withstand operator abuse.
